Call for Papers

Young researchers, Ph.D. students and Master degree students interested in giving a talk or presenting a poster at the 2nd Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting 2014 are cordially invited to register and upload an extended abstract containing their research work by May 11, 2014 (closed). Contributors will be notified about the acceptance of their paper no later than June 15, 2014.

Please note that authors of accepted papers as well as other participants are required to confirm their participation before July 10, 2014.

When preparing the short paper, use the provided LaTeX template and observe the instructions below.

Title: Limited to 180 characters in length. Use title capitalization.
Author(s): Type all authors' names with initial caps.
Address: List authors' affiliations and e-mail addresses.
Abstract: Give a concise summary of your work which does not exceed 120 words.
Keywords: Provide up to 5 (non-capitalized) keywords that do not appear in the title. Use semicolons to separate the keywords.
Paper body: Limited to 600 words, excluding abstract and references, and a maximum of two figures/tables. Use title capitalization for section headings.

Accepted abstracts will be made available on the meeting website. Moreover, after last year's overwhelming success, we are again planning to invite all authors whose contribution has been accepted for an oral talk or for a poster presentation to extend their papers to be considered for publication in a book of the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics (with ISSN). The publication will be free for authors.
